What We Are Reading
Sarojini is reading the story of China’s rise and what it means for India in India’s China Challenge by journalist Ananth Krishnan. Easy to read, informative and oh so topical.
Tansy just read Civil Lines, a family saga by Radhika Swarup and Another Man’s Wife by Manjul Bajaj, a thought provoking collection of short stories, from Delhi’s Inner Circle bookstore; both interesting reads.
Abdul is reading Until the End of Time by physicist Brian Greene, having been introduced to Greene through his excellent videos on You Tube. Also The Precipice: Existential Risk and the Future of Humanity by Toby Ord, String Theorist at Columbia University.
Subhadip is reading How Innovation Works by the prolific science writer Matt Ridley & the story of India through its languages in Wanderers, Kings and Merchants by Peggy Mohan.
Sonya is reading Ex Libris: 100+ Books to Read and Reread by New York Times book critic Michiko Kakutani; a book about books - beautifully written. And listening on Audible to a fabulous narration of Piranesi, a gripping thriller by Susanna Clarke.
